PS3 Slim shifts 1 million units in three weeks

The slimline PS3 has already moved more than 1 million units around the world since it was released.

Sony announced the Slim edition of its current console has achieved this sales milestone in three weeks. It was launched in the US and Europe on September 1st, and in Japan on September 3rd.

In a press release, Sony attributed this success to the PS3 Slim’s cutting-edge features and functions” and highly attractive recommended retail price”.
