Publishing and mobile giants collide

The partnership will bear its first fruits this autumn with the release of the football sim, and will be joined by fellow gaming giants The Sims 2 and Need For Speed Most Wanted, each specially created for the mobile platform.

15-20 EA games are slated for release through Vodafone Live in Europe by the end of 2006.

“Our partnership with Vodafone is an important milestone as EA pursues its strategy in the mobile gaming space,” said EA Europe mobile boss Frank Sagnier. “We’re pleased to team up with Vodafone to bring more mobile gaming experiences to consumers.”
