Throughout the period, 19 of Nintendo’s software releases sold more than one million units – of these 13 were DS titles, three were Wii titles and three were for the Game Boy Advance.
The firm also confirmed that it has shipped 3.19 million Wii consoles to date and maintains that it will ship six million by the end of its fiscal year. It also added 1.4 million Wii users had connected their consoles to the internet, and that 1.5 million Virtual Console software titles have so far been downloaded.
In addition to this it was also revealed that 3.5 million DS owners have hooked up their handhelds to the internet, with a total of over 100 million connections made in total.
