MICROSOFT: Redesigned Xbox 360 available NOW; World of Tanks announced

Microsoft has unveiled a redesign of the Xbox 360 that is available now.

The new console mirrors the design aesthetic of the Xbox One. By available “now” Microsoft presumably means in the coming days. And in America, although UK gamers shouldn’t have to wait too long.

Furthermore, existing Xbox Live Gold members are to get two free game downloads. Titles in the line-up will include Assassin’s Creed II and Halo3.

Microsoft also confirmed an Xbox 360 release for Wargaming’s MMO World of Tanks. The game has been tailored for consoles, both via “deep” integration with Xbox Live and by a console-orientated fine-tune.

World of Tanks, less you forget, is free-to-play.

Two more Xbox 360 games were also confirmed – Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Namco Bandai’s Dark Souls II.
