Apple will reportedly unveil a pair of new iPad products later this month.
The firm will reveal the fifth generation iPad and second generation iPad mini as part of an October 22nd event, according to an AllThingsD report citing multiple sources.
The iPad 5 will apparently be thinner and lighter than past models, include an improved camera, and is rumoured to carry Apple’s new 64-bit A7 chip.
iPad mini 2 is said to boast a retina display, along with the A7 chip.
Sources also claim announcements for the new Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks will be part of the festivities as well.
If the report is accurate, expect Apple to have the devices out in time for the holiday season. The company launched the fourth generation iPad and iPad mini last November – just a few weeks after revealing the products.
