Revenues down for Atari fiscal Q2 08

Atari’s financial filing for its second financial quarter of 2008 ending September 30th 2007 shows that net loss for the period reached $7.7 million, up from a loss of $68,000 in the same period the year before.

Net revenue for the period was $13.3 million, down from $28.6 million last year. Of this, revenue from publishing hit $11.4 million, down from $23.1 million, whilst distribution revenue was $1.9 million, a drop of $3.6 million.

For the six months ending September 30th net revenue was $23.7 million, down from the $48.1 million revenue filed in the same six month period last year. The net loss in the period was $19.6 million, up from the previous $7.4 million.
