The latest iteration of the Galaxy Android smartphone series has gone on sale in the UK.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 arrives less than a year after its predecessor the S4, packing a 16MP camera and an Apple-like fingerprint scanner. The Shimmer White and Charcoal Black versions of the Android-based handset can be found on the High Street right now with Electric Blue and Copper Black arriving later this month and next month respectively.
It faces off against the likes of the iPhone 5S, HTC One M8 and LG G2 at the top-end of the smartphone market.
Which is why a SIM-free version costs in the region of 579, although it can be had for less on tariffs of around 40 per month or more.
