Sega has teamed up with San Francisco development studio Secret Level to recreate a yet-to-be-announced Sega franchise for PS3 and Xbox 360.
The exclusive worldwide agreement will see Sega manage all sales, marketing and distribution activities as well as supervising on-going game development.
“Sega will become a leading publisher on the next generation of console hardware by marketing great Western-developed content that includes properties from a rich portfolio of Sega games,” commented Sega of America CEO Simon Jeffery.
Other Western developers Sega has teamed up with recently include Silicon Knights, Monolith Productions, Sports Interactive, SUMO, Pseudo and The Creative Assembly.
Previously Secret Level has been responsible for titles such as Magic the Gathering: Battleground and Star Wars Jedi Starfighter.
