Sega saves face with Football Manager

July 20th by Ben Parfitt

If you think £7 million is a lot to pay for Peter Crouch then you should consider making yourself the next big summer signing by cementing your place in upcoming PC title Football Manager 2006.

Sega and Sports Interactive are once again running a ‘Face in the Game’ competition giving fans of the series the chance to star as a player or staff member in the next instalment. As players eventually age and retire in the game, the data gathered from this competition will be used as the basis for the regenerated players in the game, ensuring a pool of talent is always available for managers to work with.

“Doing this again is a perfect way for us to say a big thank you to everyone for their support, particularly in the last 18 months,” added Sports Interactive’s managing director Miles Jacobson.
