Videogamer has smashed its traffic records last month thanks to major new editorial changes.
The firm has ditched long reviews, instead focusing on shorter 300-word pieces, alongside in-depth features.
It has also ramped up its video output. Since February, its YouTube subscribers have risen from 4,000 to 71,000.
Return visits have doubled year-on-year, with average time spent on the site increasing by 33 per cent.
And last month it saw 2,015,511 visitors (according to Google Analytics) – its highest ever figure.
MD of parent Pro-G Adam McCann told MCV: “With a busy Q4, new consoles, and a few more exciting things this year from us, our team is firing on all cylinders and our hope is to hit another major milestone very soon.”
