Due for release on PS3, 360 and PC in Q4, the title takes the vertiginous free roaming, all-action style of Crackdown and adds plenty of gore.
The title is an evolution of Radical’s Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction title, aimed at next-gen platforms. In the words of the studio itself, Prototype offers gamers the chance to “kick ass in a thousand different ways” and pits the main character against both the military and some unsavoury zombie-style characters termed ‘the infected’ in a three-way war.
