SimCity gets free Nissan DLC

Players of troubled simulation title SimCity now have access to a free piece of Nissan-sponsored DLC.

The Nissan Leaf Charging Station would in real-life allow owners of Nissan’s electric car the chance to plug in and recharge. In-game it gives its users a happiness boost and also offers a one-time happiness boost to surrounding businesses.

And by some miracle of science it also doesn’t draw any power from the grid or produce any rubbish. Nor is it favoured by wealthier Sims, as uptake will be the same across all three income brackets.

The DLC can be downloaded from the ad that should appear the next time it is launched or instead directly from Origin. It will be available for the next six months.
