Skyrim cast features Captain Von Trapp and Wonder Woman

Bethesda has unveiled the vocal talent for the latest Elder Scrolls title, including Christopher Plummer, Max Von Sydow, Lynda Carter and Joan Allen.

Von Sydow, known for his roles in The Exorcist and Minority Report, can already be heard as the narrator in the official trailers for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In the game, he will play Esbern a mentor figure obsessed with the foretold return of dragons.

Plummer lends his voice to Arngeir, a philosopher monk who lives in the mountains. He is best known as Captain Von Trapp from The Sound of Music, and will star in the upcoming English-speaking version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Lynda Carter, from the classic Wonder Woman TV series, plays Gormlaith Golden-Hilt, a Nord hero who once overthrew the dragons. Meanwhile, Joan Allen – who played roles in The Bourne Ultimatum and The Contender) – plays Delphine, a warrior from the ancient order of the Blades.

Other confirmed voice actors include BattleStar Galactica’s Michael Hogan, Smoking Aces’ Vladimir Kulich, Babylon 5’s Claudia Christian, Carnivale’s Diane Louis Salinger, Weeds’ Renee Victor and Saturday Night Live’s George Coe.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on November 11th.
