UK distributor Sony DADC has finally opened its new distribution centre.
The facility has been built on the same site as the firm’s previous Enfield installation, which was burned down during the London riots last August.
The new centre became operational during the summer but officially opens today (September 14th).
It stretches over 326,000 sq ft and is 6.6 ft higher than the previous building.
“Our new facility provides even better support with more capacity, better tech and a bigger infrastructure,” said marketing manager Christina Schobesberger.
“We didn’t cut any staff as a result of the fire – we are proud of that fact as it was a critical element in re-establishing ourselves.”
