Sony has announced a new partnership with HTC that will see PlayStation certified games coming to its phones.
The firm has also renamed PlayStation Suite to PlayStation Mobile as it reaffirms its commitment to the mobile gaming space.
PlayStation Suite launched last year with the first ever PlayStation Phone – Xperia Play. It saw a string of popular PSOne titles appear on mobile phones for the first time.
The HTC deal is a significant development for Sony, which wants to grab a cut of the lucrative mobile games market. PlayStation Suite is currently utilised in open-platform Android phones.
The new deal with HTC was announced at Sony’s pre-E3 press conference.
