Sony suffers new data loss

PSN remains online, but it seems that hackers are not letting up on their tirade against PlayStation platform holder Sony.

Reuters reports that Sony websites from three different countries have been hacked.

In addition, it claims that the personal in formation of 8,500 customers has been stolen from its Sony BMG Greek portal.

It is now claimed that Sony’s Thailand site was attacked yesterday and that there was a breach at owned Japanese ISP So-Net.

There is no indication that PSN has been affected in any way. Indeed, signs point to an imminent restoration of the PlayStation Store at some point over the next 48 hours.

MCV has contacted Sony for comment.

UPDATE:
Hackers have apparently uploaded the Greek userbase database online
