In a fresh announcement that further strengthens Square Enix’s growing Western aspirations, the Japanese publisher has confirmed that it will be publishing Dungeon Siege 3.
Developed by Fallout New Vegas, Alpha Protocol and Knights of the Old Republic studio Obsidian, it’s the first time that the popular dungeon crawling RPG series has been released on consoles – specifically Xbox 360 and PS3, as well as PC.
Dungeon Siege Chris Taylor of Gas Powered Games will also work on the game as an advisor. Little is known of the title as of yet, though it has been confirmed that it will support will feature co-op multiplayer.

There’s no release date for the game as of yet.
