Square says user info was not compromised in web hack

No personal information was accessed following the recent security breach of Square Enix member servers in Japan and North America.

This is despite the publisher revealing last week that up to 1.8 million accounts may have been compromised, with information including customer names, phone numbers and e-mails.

As a result, Square Enix said it will restarted the members service by the end of December, with exact details to be announced at a later date”
