Stuart Black quitting Codemasters

Stuart Black, the often outspoken creative director at Codemasters, has made the surprise decision to leave the publisher in a matter of weeks.

News site Eurogamer, which revealed Black’s departure, suggested that the decision is the result of "post-E3 fallout".

The news comes after it emerges that Tom Gillo, Bodycount’s executive producer, has already left the group.

Black, having been at Codemasters for some three years, is now wrapping up work on the Bodycount FPS project before leaving in October. The game was pencilled in for a Q1 2011 release.
