Supanova visits Brisbane again in November

The Australian pop culture expo Supanova is set to have its biggest year yet, and is looking to return to Brisbane for a second show in November.

Supanova has been running in Australia since 2002, and draws in fans of pop culture in all its forms, from videogames and tabletop gaming to comic book and movies.

After just having announced Evanna Lynch and Scarlett Byrne from Harry Potter on Friday, Supanova is confirming a one-day Melbourne show featuring Christopher Lloyd.

The April Brisbane show saw some 23’400 attendees (up from 19’700 last year), and has warranted a second show to take place on 4th-6th November.

Supanova tours in most major cities throughout Australia, and is able to report that in 2011 all its locations saw a marked increase in attendees since 2010. Sydney jumped from 16’400 to 22’600, Perth from 12’200 to 17’500 and Melbourne from 10’200 to 14’400.

Supanova is visiting Adelaide and the Gold Coast for the first time in 2012.
