Telltale confirms episodic Game of Thrones series

Epic TV drama Game of Thrones is next in line for the Telltale Games treatment.

The news was first rumoured last month but was officially confirmed at the weekend’s VGX Awards in the US.

There’s not really much extra info, although we do know that the game will follow the template laid down by other Telltale games such as The Walking Dead, Back to the Future and The Wolf Among Us – it will be episodic and defined by narrative choices.

Development of Game of Thrones is apparently still in the early stages. It’s not known what narrative the games will follow, but the announcement suggested a tie-in with the HBO TV series.
