Multi-platform indie game hit Terraria is heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year, published 505 Games has announced.
505 posted the official announcement on the Terraria Online forums, explaining the new console versions will include all of the content provided in the 1.2 update available on current platforms.
The PS4 version will be cross-play and cross-save compatible with the PS Vita version as well – though it was not specified if the game will end up being offered as a one-time purchase for both console and handheld.
The company also teased the PS4 and Xbox One editions will boast “brand new functionality,” adding that the feature(s) will be shown behind closed doors at E3 next week.
Terraria is currently available on Android, iOS, PC, PS3 PS Vita and Xbox 360.
