Konami has bagged 2005 PFA Player of the Year John Terry as the new face of its hugely successful football series Pro Evolution Soccer.
Terry replaces Arsenal’s Thierry Henry as the figurehead for the franchise, and will be on hand for promotional activities in advance of the expected fifth edition of the Pro Evolution Soccer series.
“I’ve been a massive fan of Pro Evolution Soccer for years now and am really pleased to be able to work with the talented people behind such a fantastic game,” Terry said of the deal.
“It’s the game of choice for lots of players as it is so true to the real thing. I’m looking forward to getting involved – and getting to play advance versions on the way.”
