Testronic Labs appoints new games boss

reports that Testronic Labs has appointed Thorsten Heinze as the head of its games division.

Having previously worked at the likes of Nintendo, Crytek and Vivendi, Heinze will be tasked with driving forward business growth for the testing firm.

The firm, which is owned by German investment group Catalis, which also owns Kuju, recent;y grew its QA and localisation services via a merger with PMTC in Belgium, and the opening of a new DVD testing facility in Warsaw. It employes over 260 freelance and permanent staff in America, the UK and Europe.

Neil Goodall, CEO for Testronic Labs, commented: This is a great appointment for us.

We have had an amazingly successful 2007 and now Thorsten joining us, with his many years of industry experience, really puts us in great shape to consolidate our position as a company that is becoming a real force in games testing.”
