Rapidly growing UK retailer The Hut has revealed that its network of websites saw a 188 per cent year-on-year increase in the number of orders it received in the six weeks over Christmas.
In the same period international revenue soared 240 per cent year-on-year.
“We are extremely happy with these results which reflect a year of continued growth and development for The Hut Group,” commercial director Richard Chapple stated.
“We are committed to delivering a market leading proposition for the consumer, focusing on both excellent value and service. We are particularly pleased with the results in the face of what has been a difficult economic climate across Europe, and we hope to be able to build on this performance through 2010.”
