The Tube to get Wi-Fi before London Olympics

The London Underground will gain Wi-Fi access in time for the 2012 Olympic Games, according to Transport for London.

120 stations will be decked out with underground web access with TfL’s strategy and service boss Gareth Powell saying that the organisation was in the final stages of a tender process for companies to operate the network.

TfL said that an announcement on the provider would be made later in the spring which they said was "leaving plenty of time" for delivery ahead of the games.
