THQ Nordic and Wired Productions have announced a retail partnership for two upcoming titles: Heamimont Games' action RPG Victor Vran: Overkill Edition and LKA's first-person psychological thriller The Town of Light.
Both titles will feature numerous enhancements over their digital PC counterparts, and the partnership will also see both titles land on PS4 and Xbox One in addition to a boxed PC release. At the moment, each title is slated for a late spring launch window.
Victor Vran: Overkill Edition will feature new visual enhancements, a 60fps framerate and two brand-new pieces content in the form of the Fractured Worlds chapter and the Motörhead: Through the Ages adventure – which you can read more about in our in-depth feature. The Overkill Edition will also feature four-player online co-op.
As for The Town of Light, the retail release will include new puzzles, additional story elements, reworked voiceover dialogue, a huge graphical and UI overhaul to make it more immersive and polished, and brand-new interactive elements. Existing owners of the digital version on PC will also receive these updates free of charge.
“THQ Nordic are a trusted partner, and it is great to continue our professional relationship,” said Leo Zullo, managing director of Wired Productions. “Their distribution reach, knowledge and support is a key part of our publishing strategy for these titles, and we’re thrilled to be working with such a talented team once more.”
“Wired Productions always deliver outstanding marketing and public relations support to every title they publish,” said Jan Binsmaier, publishing director THQ Nordic. “Wired Productions’ eye for detail and bringing great products to market is second to none, and we’re delighted to continue our working partnership with these two great titles.”
