THQ’s executive vice president of publishing has resigned to ‘pursue another opportunity’, according to the US firm.
Scott Guthrie was responsible for overseeing North America sales and distribution, and marketing and resigns with immediate effect.
“THQ has a deep and experienced global sales and marketing team and we continue to execute on our focused product strategy,” said Brian Farrell, THQ’s chairman, president and CEO. “We wish Scott well in his future endeavors.”
The news comes in the same month that THQ announced that it had cut its annual losses.
This week, the firm took the GfK-ChartTrack UK All Formats No.1 spot with its latest UFC game.
