The video game tie-in of Paramount’s upcoming summer cinema outing The Last Airbender will be published on Wii and DS courtesy of THQ, it has been confirmed.
The Last Airbender is a live-action take on the popular cartoon, the game of which was also published by THQ back in 2007. It’s directed by M Night Shyamalan, who is the man behind the likes of Sixth Sense, Signs and Unbreakable.
The Last Airbender video game boasts original gameplay elements that create an experience never previously seen before on the Wii system,” THQ’s kids, family & casual games executive VP Doug Clemmer stated.
The artistic in-game graphics and dynamic combat were designed to fully engage players, while providing an exhilarating and interactive gaming moment.”
