Titanfall beats InFamous: Second Son in March charts

Titanfall beat Thief, South Park and Infamous to become the biggest selling game of March.

It was a month of new releases, with a total of six new games in the Top Ten. As well as the above Dark Souls II and Metal Gear Solid V also made the Top Ten. As a result, sales of games were much higher in March than February.

Overall it was a weaker than usual March. The number of boxed games sold last month was 2.14m, which is 20 per cent down compared with March 2013. That month had several big launches, such as Tomb Raider and BioShock.
