Hal Halpin told the Washington Post that a duo of firms were set to join Activision, Vivendi and iD Software in jumping ship – and that “several others are unhappy but remain with the organisation”.
He said: "It's really concerning for all of us. Anyone who cares about the games business should be concerned about what's going on with the ESA.”
However EA’s VP of communications Jeff Brown stuck up for the organisation, saying it was "unfortunate" that some industry leaders have left the body and adding that for EA, "there's no thought of leaving the organization”.
The ESA declined to comment when contacted by MCV.
