Ubi shares up amid fresh EA speculation

Shares in games publisher Ubisoft closed yesterday up 5.2 per cent at E41.20, with traders speculating on a fresh acquisition approach by US rival Electronic Arts.

EA purchased a 19.9 per cent stake in the French firm last December, Ubisoft branding the move ‘hostile’ at the time.
