Ubisoft and Square announce merchandise cross-promotion

Ubisoft and Square Enix are partnering up to offer their merchandise in each other’s stores.

Fans can now purchase both brands’ goodies in the Ubisoft Uplay Shop and the Square Enix Store.

The partnership brings the Ubicollectibles series to Square’s store – this includes Assassin’s Creed figurines and Rabid Rabbids merchandise, with more Assassin’s Creed stuff coming in November and early 2014.

Conversely, Play Arts Kai Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy and Hitman figures are now available to buy at the Uplay Shop.

Ubisoft is the latest brand to partner with Square to sell its their online store – Konami, DC and Microsoft all sell branded merchandise through Square’s store.

Plus, the new Assassin’s Creed character merchandise is a great asset to the brand, especially in conjunction with the release of the biggest Assassin’s Creed game ever.”
