The French publisher, which owns 18 studios in 13 countries, said in an earnings call that it wanted to take its total headcount from around 3,600 to 4,500, Next-Gen reports.
Emphasis will be placed on growing its new studios in Singapore and India, plus its Chinese operations. The company has made a significant push into those regions, and the East overall, in recent months with new studios and acquisitions.
The publisher said its sales were up 36 per cent in the financial year covering 2007 to 2008.
