Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot was keen to stress that nearly 30 per cent of Ubisoft sales came from next-gen software, with Ubisoft boasting a 20 per cent market share on Xbox 360 games in the fourth quarter.
Guillemot also emphasised the success of the movie licence King Kong, which has shifted 4.5 million copies so far, and spoke confidently of the next financial year.
“The investments made in the last two years will enable us to launch five new brands and new Hollywood licences,” said Guillemot. “We will pursue our offensive strategy of investment in new consoles in order to continue to grow faster than the market thanks to the creation of new brands and to our entry into new games segments.”
