Ubisoft signs Game of Thrones prequel

Popular fantasy tale A Game of Thrones is coming to PC this September.

Ubisoft is handling the UK release of A Game of Thrones: Genesis, a strategy title based on the A Song of Fire and Ice books. It will cover the events leading up to the smash hit HBO series airing on Sky Atlantic.

The TV series’ premiere racked up audiences of 4.2m in the US.

Ubisoft’s UK brand manager Ombeline Wallon said: The saga has a strong following and a committed community – even more so since the start of the TV series. We will ensure they are aware and enthused by the release of the game.”
