Ubisoft has announced a partnership with The Tetris Company to bring the classic title to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In a joint announcement, the two firms revealed the latest version of Tetris will arrive via digital means for both consoles.
"We welcome Ubisoft to the Tetris family," Tetris Company managing director Henk Rogers said. "I am 100 percent sure they will develop one of the best versions of the Tetris game ever."
Bold words. No other details, such as release window or pricing, were mentioned.
The Tetris license was most recently owned by EA – which also last owned the Hasbro license, before Ubisoft picked it up itself.
