Forza Motorsport 2 topples Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean from the top of the official all formats ChartTrack listings in its first week on release and becomes not only the third fastest selling 360 title ever (just behind Gears of War and Pro Evolution Soccer 6), but also the fourth fastest seller across any format this year (pipped by WoW: Burning Crusade, Final Fantasy XII and Resistance: Fall of Man).
As Jack Sparrow and friends drop from the top spot to number three, Lara’s latest Tomb Raiding adventure holds firm at two in its second week at retail. Former chart topper Spider-Man 3 drops one place to number four, while Wii Play, the only top ten title to increase in sales this week, rises one spot to number five.
As the rest of the top ten stalwarts jostle for position, the only other notable change is the arrival of EA’s The Sims 2: H&M Stuff at number eleven, this week’s second highest new entry.
