UK charts: Pokemon captures number one spot

Pokemon Ranger becomes the sixth Pokemon title to scale the summit of the ChartTrack All Formats listings in the past ten years.

Last week’s number one TMNT has to settle for second spot this week, and there's a couple of surprise hits - Wii Play, which rockets up the chart from 21st place last week to take third after a fresh batch of stock was unleashed on the market, and Harvest Moon on DS, which makes an impressive debut for a single format title at four.

Meanwhile Ubisoft’s bargain basement PC titles cling on to their top ten spots, with Rayman 2: The Great Escape and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time continuing to perform well at five and eight respectively.

The official UK top ten all formats chart for the week ending April 21st:

1. Pokemon Ranger (Nintendo)
2. TMNT (Ubisoft)
3. Wii Play (Nintendo)
4. Harvest Moon DS (Rising Star Games)
5. Rayman 2: The Great Escape (Ubisoft)
