UK charts: Potter fights off Darkness to claim top spot

A fresh batch of big-sellers have ousted Forza from its residency at the top of the Chart Track all formats top ten this week, as the Microsoft racer is outpaced by EA’s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the game based upon the forthcoming film-of-the-book. Running it close at number two is 2K Games’ much-hyped The Darkness, while Shrek the Third (Activision) leaps up a prodigious ten slots to number three after the release of the film.

Capcom classic Resident Evil 4 storms in at number four, and completing the all-new top five is new DS title More Brain Training - backed by none other than Nicole Kidman.

Completing the line-up of new titles in the top ten is Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six: Vegas, which makes a return to the upper echelons of the chart thanks to its PS3 release last week.
