The Olympics may be over for the rest of us but not for Sega, which enjoyed a third week at the top of the charts with its London 2012 tie-in.
There’s no change in the Top Four, with Mario & Sonic and Warner’s Dark Knight duo still shifting the most units.
This is despite sales declines across all for titles. Interestingly, both Olympics games saw sales dip by 9 per cent, while both Batman titles suffered a greater loss of 20 per cent.
The Amazing Spider-Man was the only title in the Top Five to enjoy a sales boost, with 13 per cent more copies sold. This was thanks to the release of the PC version.
No new entries in the Top 40 this week, meaning little change elsewhere in the charts.
