UK confirmed for Two Worlds II

After a confusing 24 hours that saw retailer GAME remove Topware’s console RPG Two Worlds II from its release schedule, a UK release for the game has finally been confirmed.

However, there are strings. The game will now be available only from online retailer Amazon. And its release has slipped from this Friday to Tuesday March 1st.

"Eager to get our game out to the RPG hungry masses, TopWare has decided to forego a retail release, and launch Two Worlds II solely on Amazon.com," the publisher told Eurogamer.

"If you had pre-ordered this award winning title elsewhere, they will not have stock as Amazon will be fulfilling all of the United Kingdom. Amazon will have all versions in stock, including the esteemed Royal Edition.

"We will make sure that the UK is taken care of."

What remains unclear is the nature of the problems that lead to the decision, particularly as GAME was once the exclusive supplier of the Royal Edition.
