Due to arrive on August 24th, the revised console offers a 100GB hard drive size increase, an additional HDMI video out port and some extra video-on-demand related functionality. If the price is correct, the machine will cost £50 more than Microsoft’s current 360 Premium console and £130 more than the Core machine.
In other hardware news, Sony’s new European PS3 bundle has arrived in the UK – offering two Sixaxis controllers and two additional games from Sony’s first-party offering.
Many retailers, such as Play and Amazon, have already cut the price of the bundle to sub-£400, and have even thrown in a free HDMI cable.
