IGN claims to have received this information from three independent sources close to Nintendo.
The new handheld reinvents its predecessor by including built-in cameras, an SD Card slot, internal memory, a revamped interface and downloadable software. It launched in Japan in November, and sold half a million units in its first month.
Nintendo UK has told MCV: "We don't comment on rumour and speculation and no announcement has been made regarding the European launch date of DSi."
