US: New Xbox 360 Elite SKU unveiled

Microsoft has announced its Xbox 360 Elite Holiday bundle will be heading to American shelves in time for Christmas.

The new SKU will retail for $300 and will include an Xbox 360 Elite, Warner Bros’ LEGO Batman and Disney’s Pure, according to Gamespot. The announcement comes one week before the offer of a $50 rebate for Elite purchasers ends.

Also unveiled was a new retail configuration for the Xbox 360 controller. The Wiresless Controller Game Pack retails at $60 and includes a wireless black controller, a token for Ms. Pac-Man and three Xbox Live Arcade games: Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, Lumines LIVE!, Bomberman LIVE!.

Alternatively, consumers can purchase a standalone Xbox 360 controller in black, white and several other colours. As of October 15th, GameStop customers will have the option of an exclusive black and red controller.
