VIDEO: Hellraid ditches PS3 and 360, goes next-gen

Techland’s fantasy battler Hellraid has officially gone next-gen.

The game was announced last year for PS3 and Xbox 360 but has now been confirmed instead for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC some time later this year.

It’s powered by the same engine behind Techland’s other upcoming first person title Dying Light although this ditches cities and zombies for dungeons and… sort of gothic undead zombie-like things that are probably better described as demons and monsters than zombies.

Early showings of the game drew comparisons with Skyrim, not least because of the first person swordplay. It certainly looks visually great in the video below:
