Bethesda has gone live with the launch video for next week’s release Wolfenstein: The New Order.
As the first multiplatform first person shooter to be released this year, hopes are high for the game, even if the IP is perhaps not as cherished as it once was.
“Set in the 1960s, the monstrous Nazi regime has used mysterious advanced technology to win World War II,” the blurb reads. “They now rule the globe with an iron fist.
“With the help of a small group of resistance fighters, Wolfenstein: The New Order sends you across Europe on a harrowing mission to bring down the Nazi war machine that has conquered Earth – and beyond.”
The game arrives on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on Tuesday May 20th, having originally been pencilled in for Friday 23rd before its release date was ever so slightly nudged forward.
Don’t forget that it also includes a key for the as-of-yet undated Doom Beta.
