Welcome to E3 2013 on MCVuk.com

Can you hear that noise? That creaking?

That’s the sound of games journalists’ E3 meeting schedules as they break to bursting point as we near the biggest week of the year for the games industry.

E3 2013 kicks off on Monday June 10th and promises a host of big reveals ahead of the launch of both Xbox One and PS4 later this year.

In fact, this year’s show looks to deliver on all the missed promises of E3 2012, which was characterised mainly by silence – Microsoft and Sony’s decision to keep their consoles under wraps last year left publishers with little to reveal.

Thankfully there will be nothing to hold us back this year.

What can we expect? Not much, really. That is apart from out first look at the PS4 hardware, loads of new first party games from Microsoft, tonnes of new software reveals and – you never know – possibly some hint of next-gen pricing and release dates?

Excited much?

We might also find out if the pre-owned industry is going to be killed and whether we’ll need a direct cerebral link to the Matrix to use the upcoming new hardware.

But in the meantime we’ll be running some special E3 features to get you in the mood. Make sure you check back every day until E3…
