Square Enix is fighting back against the unwanted duo of summer drought and market decline with the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The prequel to the critically acclaimed 2000 Eidos title arrived on shelves today, triggering an onslaught of high profile new releases that lasts from now until Christmas.

And Deus Ex is not the only fresh face at retail this weekend. Also out today is Nintendo's football RPG Inazuma Eleven, developed by the creators of Professor Layton, and Kalypso's dictator-themed strategy game Tropico 4.

Finally, sports fans will no doubt be eager to check out 505 Games' Rugby World Cup 2011, the official video game of the upcoming competition.
