Who needs E3?

As well as holding the largest TGS yet, the Japanese organisers have secured SCE president and CEO Ken Kuturagi as keynote speaker. It is also expected to be the showcase for PS3 and Wii’s launch line-up and final hardware configurations, alongside many other product announcements and revelations.

This year’s event marks TGS’ 10th anniversary, and it will celebrate in style with a record 143 exhibitors over the three days, beginning Friday September 22nd. This year’s show will fill out the entire Makuhari Messe exhibition centre for the first time since 2001, and will also host the Japan Game Awards.
